πŸ”§ Local Businesses & Industry Professionals β€” We Want You to Be Part of Toolbox for Tomorrows Leaders!

Β

Citrus County Schools is looking for local businesses and industry professionals who are interested in sharing their careers, expertise and hands-on knowledge with students through our Toolbox for Tomorrows Leaders program.

A diverse group of students dressed in various career uniforms stand behind a toolbox labeled 'Toolbox for Tomorrow's Leaders'.

Β

This engaging 8-week after-school program, kicking off October 12, gives students the opportunity to explore real-world careers, connect with professionals in our community, participate in hands-on projects and build valuable employability skills β€” all while discovering the courses and career pathways that can help prepare them for their future.

Β

Last year's program featured professionals from a variety of fields, including:
Β πŸ§‘β€πŸ« Personal Training & Fitness
Β πŸ”§ Automotive & Mechanics
Β πŸš” Law Enforcement & Forensics

Β

We're looking to expand those opportunities this year and would love to connect with professionals in fields such as:

πŸ₯ Healthcare
Β πŸ—οΈ Construction & Skilled Trades
 🌱 Agriculture & Natural Resources
Β πŸ’» Technology
 🍽️ Hospitality & Culinary
 ⚑ Utilities & Electrical
 …and many more!

Β

How can you help? Businesses and industry professionals can participate by presenting about their career, leading a hands-on activity, demonstrating skills or equipment, sharing their career journey, or helping students understand what it takes to enter their field.

Your time and expertise can give students a glimpse into careers they may have never considered β€” and help them see the opportunities available right here in our community. πŸ’™
