Sean Furniss is currently in his seventh year as a school principal, bringing 29 years of educational experience to his role at Floral City Elementary. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of administrative positions alongside his foundational work as a classroom teacher.

Mrs. Cody Piland serves as the Assistant Principal at Floral City Elementary School, guiding a diverse community of 380 Pre-K through fifth grade students. Entering her 20th year in education across Pinellas and Citrus counties, her extensive background includes three years as a classroom teacher, eight as a Media Specialist, one as an Instructional Technology Integration Coordinator, and eight as an Assistant Principal.
